We stretch our canvas prints on high quality 32 x 42mm heavy duty kiln dried stretcher bars and all stretched canvases are supplied ready to hang.

Clear

Canvas Finish *

We coat your canvas print with an archival protective coating that blocks UV light and provides resistance against scratching, scuffing and is anti-fungal.

Canvas Edge *

We print a 35mm side wrap border and 30mm back stapling border (65mm in total). When framing, specify 1-1/4″ / 32mm stretcher frames.

Mirror parts of the image closest to the edge over the sides.

Continue the image over the sides (supply artwork 1-1/4 inch/32mm larger than final size).

Mirror a smaller portion of the edge of the photo (1/8th of border size), stretching it out to the border size.

Print a solid colour for the canvas sides.

Our giclee fine art canvases are printed on our state-of-the-art Canon PRO-4000 and Epson wide format fine art printers using the very best museum archival grade Breathing Color Lyve 450 GSM canvas. All canvas prints are finished with Breathing Color Timeless Varnish, a premium archival certified varnish that will protect and seal your beautiful fine art canvas print from harmful UV exposure.

Canvas can be ordered ready to hang, stretched on high quality kiln dried stretcher bars, with D-rings and hanging wire installed. Our stretcher bars are all sourced from regrowth forests.

Our studio offers a fully colour managed process from start to finish to give you the most accurate output possible. We offer free consultation and review of submitted files, colour correction, paper recommendations as well as advice and recommendations on print handling, framing and presentation.

Every file submitted is checked by a real human before printing to identify possible issues and we’ll let you know if we think something isn’t quite right with your submitted file. We also offer free assistance with paper selection, colour correction and any other aspect of our printing services — get in touch and we’d be happy to help!

To ensure the best possible prints from your digital files, please upload files with the following specifications.

Formats

We accept Photoshop (PSD), JPEG and TIFF files for printing.

Colour Space

All files must be RGB (no CMYK) and we recommend using either Adobe RGB (1998) or ProPhoto RGB colour profiles.

Resolution

Your files should ideally be at least 300dpi and must be correctly sized for the size of print that you order. Files at incorrect dimensions or aspect ratio may be cropped or distorted.

Borders

We add an approximately 4mm handling border to all finished prints unless otherwise specified. This allows for safe handling and easy framing of your prints. If you require a larger area, this must be included in your file, and a final print size that accommodates the border must be ordered.

For all items other than stretched and ready-to-hang canvas products, we charge a flat rate for shipping anywhere in Australia, and if you spend at least $200 in a single order, your order ships free.  Production time for fine art prints and unstretched canvas is currently 24-48 hours, and fine art cards are currently 3 to 5 business days.

Ready-to-Hang Canvas
